Founded in 1992 by Artistic Director, Denise Gula, The Dancers’ Studio at Oberlin is the preferred school of Ohio Dance Theatre. The school is recognized as Lorain County's premiere dance training destination, providing the highest standard of arts education for children and adults.

Introduction to Dance (Ages 10-13) Tue., 7-8pm
The perfect class for the child who has never had a class but always wanted to learn to dance! This fun class is designed to introduce students ages 10 to 13 to ballet and jazz dance. Learning some basic ballet and jazz skills will allow the students to experience each style of dance while improving their flexibility, sense of rhythm and overall coordination.
Ballet/Tap Combo (Ages 5-6) Tue., 4:30-5:30pm
Provides a solid base for developing dance technique serving as a precursor for more formalized/structured dance training. Class emphasis is on creating strong bodies and imaginative minds, while providing opportunity for enjoyment, self-expression and social interaction. Curriculum includes beginning ballet and tap terminology.
Tango for Adults (no partner needed) Tue., 7-8pm
Tango is a social partner dance that relies heavily on attention and communication. When dancing we are constantly perceiving and responding to our partner, improvising, interpreting, and creating together. During these six weeks you will learn the basics of how to move across the floor with a partner as well and some basic concepts of Tango. This is a foundational class on which you can add step patterns, dynamics, advanced musicality, and characterization. No partner or experience needed for this beginner class!
Ballet for Adults Mon., 6:45-7:45pm
Even if your only ballet class was decades ago, come and enjoy the physical benefits of a ballet-based recreational dance class. Feel the joy of expressing yourself through this beautiful form of dance. Improve strength, flexibility and coordination. For all levels.
Ballet Barre Workout Thu., 8:45-9:45am
This ballet-inspired workout combines small isolated movements with lots of repetitions to burn calories,sculpt muscles, strengthen your core and increase flexibility. No dance experience necessary.
