The Dancers’ Studio offers rigorous dance programming that builds technical skills and personal character in children, values each student and every family, and is accessible to all children.  We believe that the joy of dance should be available to everyone and that this can best be achieved in the professional and nurturing environment The Dancers' Studio provides.  A caring and professional faculty provides a disciplined but positive approach that fosters excellence.  

Students at the Dancers' Studio have a well-rounded experience in the art of dance dance, including high-quality technical training. Technique classes inspire students at all stages of development to achieve personal success.  Performance opportunities challenge students to achieve their highest level of ability. 

The Dancers’ Studio provides components of dance training that offer students of all ages an invaluable experience and the discipline and confidence that carry over to all areas of their lives.

Nurturing the Best in Every Student...

Founded in 1992, by Artistic Director, Denise Gula,The Dancers’ Studio at Oberlin, formerly The School of Ohio Dance Theatre, is the preferred school of Ohio Dance Theatre. The school is recognized as Lorain County's premiere dance training destination, providing the highest standard of arts education for children and adults.

Kelly grew up in Buffalo, New York where she began her dance career at the age of 3. She studied at Spezio’s Dance Dynamics and David De Marie Dance Studios. She was also heavily trained in Musical Theatre where she attended the Academy of Theatre Arts for 11 years. Kelly earned her Bachelors of Arts degree from Baldwin Wallace University where she studied Dance and Communications. She was also the Co-Captain for the University’s Dance Team. She currently teaches at the Midwest School of Ballet, Jillian Rian’s Dance Studio, and Serendipity Dance, a studio focused on teaching children and young adults with special needs. She is very excited to be sharing her talents with the Northeast Ohio area!
Come and let loose on a Friday night and get funky during this two hour hip-hop and jazz master class taught by the talented Ms. Cirbus.
